I've done everything under the sun to increase the performance, and it actually runs extremely fast everywhere with the exception of when you click on one of the categories of the CAT_MenuNF. It takes literally 30 seconds or so to open the page after you click on a category for the first time. I'm using telerik, but it takes the same amount of time with dropdown, links and everything else I'm thinking about adding an index to a table somewhere to get the data and populate the index with a trigger. Has anyone tried that? I would really appreciate any tips. BTW, it is impossible to separate categories into pages due to the gigantic amount of different categories, so that is not an option.  5/27/2011 10:30:08 PM webzoneus 48 posts Re: performance question Sorry about the second post, I can't edit my original one. I found an easy fix that took my query from 37 seconds to under a second and I wanted to share it with the community. After installing a profiler, I found out that the problem was within the store procedure CAT_GetAdvCatProducts. It has 2 subqueries "HasOptions" and "HasRequiredOptions". as soon as we removed them, it started working fast immediately. So basically, we put a fixed value 'false' to both columns (HasOptions and HasRequiredOptions) and now it works extremely fast.  Page 1 of 1   DotNetNuke  CATALooK.netStore  performance que...
