I created a role called Order Administration and gave them viewing rights to the page. In the module settings, I checked off Order Administration for each topic that had role selections. When I log in as a user with Order Administration, I can see the page, but the only information I see is the search criteria fields. I receive a message that says I have no orders. Logging in as the host, I can see all the orders just fine. What am I missing? I looked everywhere for some flag to set. The order module works in different ways depending on if the user is an ADMIN or not. If the user has ADMIN permissions ALL orders in the system will be displayed ... HOWEVER if the user is NOT an ADMIN then the order module switches into a VENDER ORDER module - and as such the only orders it will show after this happens are those associated with the VENDOR. Frankly this is a very dumb design flaw by dnnsoft. One work around is to open the Module settings and turn of inheritance - then set your Order Administration role to View and Edit permissions - this will in effect give those users ADMIN level permissions within the module - after which time they will SEE all the orders. BUT once you do this - you can no longer disable or turn off any of the settings in the modules options - since it FORCES admin to have full permissions ... For example we wanted to turn of the Add Items button - but for and ADMIN it keeps on turning back on. This really need to be fixed - give as two seperate modules one for VENDORS and one for ALL ORDERS - or give us a setting in the module options to choose if we want the module to work as a vendor module or not.
