When I fill the order, I may actually deliver 1 pound 1 oz, and therefore need to change the amount charged to 8.49, and when that is known, process the charge. Can I set that up with Catalook? I could make my unit prices be in ounce ($7.99 per pound = 0.4994 per oz), and have the customer order 16 units. I could process a credit card authorization, but not process the final charge until I fill the order. When filled, I could modify the order to be 17 units, recalculate the price to $8.49, and process the charge. Is that the way to do it? Is there a better way? We are very eager to get going with this project, but we need to know we can configure for our business process. Does Catalook support a workflow of allowing the customer to enter credit card info when order is placed, but not have the charge processed until invoice is created?
