Hi, I am currently testing Catalook as new shop for selling my personalizable memory games (www.duettos.com). My products have different options that partially effect the product price however they are independent of the ordered quantity.
Example: customer wants us to manufactor 10 pieces of product A and wants us to format the uploaded pictures. The option "picture formatting" costs +5 EUR for this specific product but is only charged ones for product A and not 10 times because he orders 10 pieces of product A. Now Catalook invoices 10 x 5 EUR = 50 EUR
It would be solved if I could add a surcharge formula to my attribute like "picture formatting=+5/qty" where qty is the ordered quantity. How can I solve this?Is there a solution for this?
Best regards, Robert
Hi, thanks for your feedback.
How and where do I use the PosSel formula? I can't find any documentation on this feature?
BR, Robert
What I tried is to add a formula (say +5) to a certain PosSelID (so a unique combination of selected options) but unfortunately this too adds 5 to the product / unit price and is multiplicated by the order amount in the basket.
The only feasable solution I found until now is to add additional products, say "picture formatting" letting the customer select this product / service. The issue here is, that there is no logical validation possible to force the customer to add product B if he selected product A.
CataLook is extremely powerfull and I some can't imagine that there is no solution for this feature.
