But the forum seems to be much more of a self-help group for people like Nina and myself who are site builders using the product, rather than somewhere frequented by the DNNSoft supprt staff (I'm assuming there is more than one ). And it's the nature of the way that I (and I don't doubt many similar folks) work that sometimes I can afford to be active on the forum and other times not. I have learned useful things via the forum and (I hope that) I have also contributed here. But I'd never treat it as my primary source if I had a drop-dead urgent issue. As others have stated, you can create great stores with Catalook way cheaper than the alternatives. But, yes, it is complex and has a steep learning curve so you have to be prepared to put in to get good results. If you read the manual thoroughly (and can get past its "idiosyncratic" English) then there is a vast amount of info there. HTH.
