DNN5 & Catalook skins...
The skins that are included with Catalook do not work in DNN5.  When will there be a update?

Re: DNN5 & Catalook skins...
Are you sure? I installed Catalook on http://www.dnnbeta.com and although I've got a custom skin on there now - I had no problems with it.

I did however, have some issues with older catalook skins where we had to upgrade them to suit some of the changes and extra files that were included, but that was the worst case scenario.

Re: DNN5 & Catalook skins...
I am talking about the skins that came with the product... the blue metal, etc.  Most of them turned everything black text on white..

I don't have an additional $70 to throw at a new catalook skin pack as well as the $130 for the catalook store modules.  For that matter, I don't really care if it looks 'slick'.. just that it doesn't look bad.

Re: DNN5 & Catalook skins...

Justin, I just did a DNN upgrade on a test site form 4.9.2 --> 5.0.1 and also upgraded the Catalook trial version 5.8.1 that was already installed from to the DNN 5 version. So far everything is working great. I didn't test them all, but skins that I tried worked, including the blue metal skin.

I understand this isn't much help in solving your problem, but the skins do work with 5.0.1.

Re: DNN5 & Catalook skins...
I have upgraded to 5.0.1; and don't really notice a difference with catalook.  Skins still seem not to be working very well.  Perhaps I don't know what blue metal (for example) looks like... but I wasn't expecting white background with yellow text.  Blue Classic works (I think) or at least it doesn't look terrible.

The 'site wide' skins don't work either, btw.  The tab links for example show the sides, but nothing in the middle.

Re: DNN5 & Catalook skins...

Justin, when you say yellow text on white background, that sounds like the Demo Version notice that is displayed in the ItemPane and MenuPane. That will go away when the license key is applied.

You can take a look at the test site I referred to earlier here. It's something I just started working with this afternoon and is only for testing, so don't expect much. The Store tab opens a Child portal with the shopping cart. I will reset permissions to Registered Only in a day or two, but if you want to take a look, feel free.

I'm just learning Catalook too, so don't really know what's going on with your site. I haven't encountered any formatting problems like you have described.
