Attibute Options

How do i set it up so that you can only order GREEN and ORANGE for LARGE shirts but not have those color options if you are ordering small shirts?

I can't have the color options showing when SMALL is selected.

When I try to set up all of the attributes The color option still show when i have small selected. I need them to only appear when Large is selected.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Attibute Options

Hi

This isn't ansering your post but i think u may be able to help. i'm new with Catalook.netStore and i'm looking to allow users to select colour of a product.

eg. a football can be selected either being red or yellow.

how would i go about setting this up so a dropdown list appears on the item details for selection? is there a post you could direct me to?

Cheers

Re: Attibute Options

@Zain_Vo

The easiest way to do it in your particular instance would be to assign a dropdown box to a single attribute. You could name it "Selections Available" for ease. Within that attribute you would then set up the entries as "Small"; "Large Green"; "Large Orange". If you are charging more for a large then a small then you would use "Small"; "Large Green=+2"; "Large Orange=+2" which would surcharge an extre $2 or whatever currency the cart is using to the total. There are many more ways to go about this so if you don't care for this one, write me back and I'll give you another example.

Re: Attibute Options

@InGear

Go to the product full page edit --> Attributes tab --> Click the "+" icon over the "attributes" sub-section --> Name the attribute "Football Colors" (this is for your referance and is not seen by the customers)--> Title it "Colors Available" --> enter "Red";"Yellow" into the selections field --> Make it required --> use the dropdown box. --> click update at the bottom

Then you will see "Color" as an attribute --> click the attribute to highlight it -->Click the left arrow icon to assign the attribute to the product. Your done. Check the product to make sure this is how you would like it. Same as Zain_Vo, if you need more help just post again and I'll respond.
