Re: Skinning with CSS
I too am attempting this...unfortunately I have found no resources that were worthwhile to work off of for templates, either available for purchase or free. If anyone's got anything like that, or can point me in the direction of one, I'd love to hear it!

But, it looks like I'll be fighting through this for a while...maybe I'll write my own "how-to" guide for future use =)

Re: Skinning with CSS
First post here and just a nudge to see if anyone has anything. So far I am liking the latest version of the cart and really would like to change the look of the item pane before the store goes live in a week or less. Our general theme is and will remain red white and blue as those are our club colors. I would just like to simplify the look and get rid of or change the look of the alt header images which are the blue faded in the middle. This is especially true on pages where sub headings for items or in the checkout areas repeat the alt header numerous times.

Any ideas would be great. Like others have stated, there is not much info available on where to get module skins for the cart itself. If I had the skills and time I would jump in and learn it but unfortunately I do not.

Thanks, Robert

Re: Skinning with CSS
Well, we're getting close to making the skin lighter and faster, in fact, hope to have it online very soon - it's been months in development and testing, but it's a very nice web 2.0 styled skin for the store. demo will be online soon while we test different versions of dnn.

We have managed to get the css compliant - that's a good start, but there are issues with the compliancy for the html due to how the panels are placed and there are divs/panels put between <tr> tags rendering it to be non compliant no matter how we try.

It's been a big job but at least we are able to identify where they are not working as we expect and will pass these details on to Susanne to see if we can't get it changed.

We have not really been successful in creating completely div based skins - the calendar and options really make it quite difficult for us to achieve.

Re: Skinning with CSS
Hi Nina, is there any schedule for this skin release? It's getting very urgent to fix all these problems because they really affect page ranking. For example, just the simple CAT_dashboard has 131 html Errors and 3 warning(s). I know that you are doing your best, but this is compromising the catalook option. Thanks in advance. Best regards, JC

Re: Skinning with CSS

I too am in need of CSS skinning resources for my client's CataLoK cart.  He wants a custom skin applied to both the DNN portal and to the cart itself.  Please let me know any good links, tutorials etc.

Thanks,

Sid
