I have multiple vendors, and I need them to be able to enter orders for their customers, without paying through Catalook. I tried making a price rule that made their products free to them if they were logged in. This does not work because as they change the customer's name and address, it changes the vendor profile to that name and address. Every order they place gets assigned to the most recent cusomer they enter.
I tried creating a large coupon that would cover the cost of any single order. Except that if the amount in the cart is negative, it still wants payment info (unlike a cart with a 0 total). I thought I could fix this with a price rule (if amount in cart is less than 0, make the cart amount 0) but you can't make a rule for cart total, only quantity (right?)
I need a coupon that will allow vendors to enter orders for various cutomers without being charged. A 100% off coupon.
Is this the only way to accomplish this? Is there a simpler solution I have not thought of?
I am using dnn 4.5.5 and catalook 5.3.9, but will upgrade if that will fix the problem.
Can someone from Catalook please comment on this thread? This was functionality that was promised in prior releases but there has not been a single mention of it since and no replies to this post about it. Judging by the number of replies and views on this one it seems like a popular concept.
My client is at their wits and and ready to leave Catalook for ASPDotNetStorefront at a significant increase in costs and labor. I don't want to make this change as their site is very functional on Catalook but for this one issue. Since Catalook seems to keep referencing my client's site as a showcase it would be nice to get some kind of reply to this ongoing critical item.
Failing a release, can someone at Catlaook customize my version for this one client? At this point I would be willing to pay for this change.
Cart level percentage off coupons are supported since the v05.04.03. Please find all information in the release notes on the download page or in the manual.
