Is there a way to restrict shipping by category?  (We currently use UPS/Fedex realtime shipping calc). If not, can I add a note somewhere that will show up on the order page instructing the user that she MUST select ground shipping for this order? Thanks.  5/3/2007 12:12:23 AM host 1836 posts Re: Add note to category items No, you can not restrict shipping rates by products because you can have different products in one cart. But normally UPS will select the right rate if you provide the weight and also the dimensions of the products. You can use any of the free fields from the product main data page to add this note. You can change the field names in the language resource files and enable the display of the fields in the edit module of the cart module ('View Options').
